Welcome to the Brazilian Day in Los Angeles

Welcome to the Brazilian Day in L.A. (Los Angeles) – “O Dia da Comunidade Brasileira de Los Angeles.”  This website is the home for the Los Angeles version of the world-wide phonomena known as “Brazilian Day”.

For a second year, the Brazilian Day in Los Angeles is permanently teaming up with the Brazilian Street Carnaval  of Long Beach at the LaBrea Tar Pits to put on what we feel will be the biggest and best Brazilian Day yet!  All of those who have been participating with the Brazilian Street Carnaval of Long Beach are now welcome at our combined event in Los Angeles.  The Brazilian Street Carnaval from now on will be part of the Brazilian Day in L.A. and will happen the second Saturday of September somewhere in L.A. each year. This year it is at Hancock Park.  And best of all, the event is FREE to the public!

Founded and sponsored by the Consulate General of Brazil in Los Angeles, the event this year will be run by the Brazilian Consulate in partnership with the directors of the Long Beach Brazilian Street Carnaval who have over 13 years of running large and successful outdoor events.

The event is open to the public and a great place for singles, families, and everyone who likes to have a great time Brazilian-Style!
